I have always loved making my own bread but my mum was diagnosed as being a coeliac 14 years ago and then my husband 7 years ago. This means they cannot eat gluten so a real challenge! Gluten free cookery is tricky - especially bread and pastry, so my journey started by going to Leiths cookery school last year.
After a lot of giving samples, my first order was with North's Deli, Ashby last week and today I took my first delivery to Paul Leary at the Woodhouse (2 AA Rosette along with many other awards).
This is so exciting - I look forward to sharing my progress!
